Carla Dominguez
My therapeutic goal is to create a space where you feel safe, supported, and genuinely seen for who you are. I believe therapy works best when it is built on trust, authenticity, and collaboration, and I strive to meet each client with compassion and curiosity rather than judgment.
My therapeutic approach is rooted in a person-centered perspective, meaning I believe you are the expert of your own life and experiences. Together, we can explore the challenges you are facing at your own pace while building on your strengths, values, and resilience. I aim to provide a warm and affirming environment where clients feel empowered to grow, heal, and navigate life with greater confidence.
As a Mexican American, I am especially passionate about supporting the Latino community and other underserved populations. I understand that culture, identity, family dynamics, and systemic experiences can deeply shape mental health, and I value creating culturally responsive and inclusive care. I am also an LGBTQ+ allied therapist committed to providing an affirming and respectful space for individuals of all identities and backgrounds.
