Counseling is a process in which you and I, having come to understand and trust one another, work as a team to explore and define present concerns, develop future goals for an improved life, and work in a systematic fashion toward realizing those goals. I support and assist you in exploring your life experiences, past and present, while helping you identify patterns in thoughts, behaviors, and emotions that inhibit and promote growth.

I work from Interpersonal Processing model with a relational approach to therapy, with curiosity about your early relationships and family dynamics that contribute to the development of current patterns and narratives. I provide an open and affirmative therapeutic space to explore the dimensions of who you are, whether that is individually or in relation to others.

When counseling couples or partners in relationship to one another, I use an attachment framework to uncover outdated relational templates that are misplaced in current conflicts. We collaborate to support the healing and growth of the relationship in whatever form is healthiest for all.

I gladly work with clients in a variety of formats, including families, couples and all relationship structures, and individuals. I also conduct group therapy, and will begin a Mindful Masculinity Group in the Fall/Winter 2024.
