my practice:

My work is aimed at supporting individuals on their path toward living meaningful lives that matter to them. With this in mind, our work together will focus on defining what you care about and want to stand for, and guiding you toward living a life in alignment with those dreams and values.

My therapeutic approach is grounded in providing a nonjudgmental, empathic, and curious space that encourages self-reflection, self-insight, and self-compassion. Through developing a strong and loving sense of self, we will work to process and heal from adverse experiences from the past and present. Beyond that, this work will empower you to recognize and release patterns that no longer serve you, and give you the freedom to choose a future worth living.

My approach is informed by several therapeutic modalities, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Narrative Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). My prior work experience includes several years as an elementary school teacher in New Orleans and a mental health counselor at Loyola University, where I led support groups for trans and nonbinary students and students of color.

I work with individuals, couples, and groups. I am committed to providing anti-oppressive, antiracist, and gender-affirming care to LGBTQIA+ and BIPOC-identifying clients.
