my practice:
I believe our bodies hold the memories of our defenses, the wisdom of our experiences, and the innate capacity to heal.
As a trauma-informed PLPC, yoga instructor, and sound healer, I blend talk therapy with mindfulness and somatic practices to help clients connect mind and body, build self-regulation skills, and live with greater authenticity and ease.
My holistic approach integrates Person-Centered and Relational-Cultural frameworks with mindfulness-based behavioral models that foster psychological flexibility and values-driven
living. I incorporate somatic tools and psychoeducation to strengthen the mind-body connection and am dedicated to providing culturally responsive and equitable care.
I offer individual, couples, family, and group counseling for children (6+), adolescents, and adults. My areas of focus include anxiety, depression, stress, life transitions, and trauma. Across
all age groups, I help clients develop awareness, resilience, and self-compassion as they move toward healing and balance.
My first career in dance sparked my passion for human connection and embodied expression. My own search for balance led me to yoga, and a Yoga for Warriors (PTSD) training became the catalyst for pursuing a career in mental health. Although I’ve called New Orleans home for 15 years, growing up in a military family taught me the value of adaptability and grace in times of
uncertainty and change.
I view counseling as a collaborative and egalitarian process—rooted in mutual respect and shared purpose. Together, we’ll build a foundation of trust, clarify challenges, set meaningful
goals, and take intentional steps toward greater well-being.
